Phil Britten welcoming newish member Bryan Hyde on the 1st hole early in the morning. Phil had reason to be happy - not only did he drive the par 4 1st hole; he survived a recent health scare and we were all amazed he was playing!		Bryan smiling - it must have been the cry of dismay from Phil who went right on this shot but still parred the hole - the par 5 3rd		Brian McGee on the fringe of the 7th green - a short par 4 but tough into the howling northerly		Lionel McGee almost drove the short par 4 14th hole downwind - Peter Sproules then drove into a greenside trap in the following group. Lionel had a good day - winning the competition by a massive 10 shots!
